The Schrade SCAXE2L can handle the big stuff and not complain. It has a 3Cr13 steel head with a 4″ cutting edge and a hammer back. The handle is large and made of a hard, yet flexible glass-filled nylon core along with a TPR rubber grip. On the base of the handle you’ll find a lanyard attached to a removable ferro rod, which equates to fire when you need it. The SCAXE2L includes a rugged nylon sheath and a round disc sharpening stone.
